Slow and Steady !

I thought its finally time to start our own blog after going through hundreds and finding much useful information which is otherwise not available anywhere else. 

We settled for our 629.3 m2 piece of earth in Ropes Crossing (Western Sydney) on 26th June 2013 and have since been through the most stressful procedure of building our house plans from SCRATCH. Yes that's right, from SCRATCH. This was mainly due to the building specifications of our LOT which were difficult to build with but were turned out to be an excellent design thanks to our builders KURRAJONG HOMES ! 

Kurrajong Homes is a medium scale family owned building company. It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with Kurrajong Homes mainly due to the people who are running this company, rather than the BIG BRAND NAMES currently dominating the market as mass producers. Best of all, they specialize in Custom Designs made specifically for your piece of earth...

As first home buyers, we were unaware of the building industry and were looking to build with a company who would give us focused attention at each step of this process. While we met with a few builders and their so called SALESMEN, we were never satisfied by their dealings mainly due to their LACK of information and then we met the Sales Manager at Kurrajong Homes. He provided us with a concept plan within 10 minutes on how could we use this LOT efficiently without having to compromise and rather increase value of our Home and this was even before we paid the deposit for our Lot. Within 2 days of our first meeting with Kurrajong Homes, we were provided with our concept plan made on a piece of paper ready for us to modify/add/deduct as per our requirements. Even though it has been a slow process but after several concepts and architectural drawings, we have achieved the goal. WE NOW HAVE EVERYTHING WE WANTED IN OUR FIRST HOME THAT WAY WE WANTED IT TO BE and the best of all, i don't have to think twice before saying the above statement.
